Stories about Partizan - POP 11 - "Partizan's participation in F4"

The Final Four of the Champions Cup, later the Euroleague, was played in the 1965/66 seasons. and 1966/67, and then from the 1987/88 season. Until today. A total of 29 clubs participated in those 32 final tournaments, and Partizan is in eighth place among the European giants in terms of participation, with four appearances in the Final Four. CSKA Moscow has the most appearances (as many as 17), followed by Barcelona (14), Maccabi (12), Panathinaikos (11), Olympiakos (10), Real (9), Baskonia (5) and Partizan, Milan, Benetton and Siena with each four participations.

The first appearance of our Club at F4 took place in 1988, when the third place was won at the final tournament in Ghana, Belgium. This is followed by the historic tournament in Istanbul in 1992, where Partizan won the title of European champion. Black and white qualified for F4 in 1998 (Barcelona) and 2010 (Paris). Of the teams from the former Yugoslavia, only Partizan, Jugoplastika and Olimpija Ljubljana participated in the format of the competition with the F4 final. Partizan has the most appearances - four with one title, Jugoplastika appeared three times (1989, 1990 and 1991) and won the trophy all three times, while Olimpija participated in two final tournaments (1967 and 1997).
